What it reads
Six things, read together.
Each changes what the others mean, so all six are read before anything is scored.
Goal
What you're working toward, and by when.
Income
What comes in, and how reliably.
Expenses
Where it goes, with fixed costs kept apart.
Savings
What you set aside, and whether it would absorb a difficult month.
Debt
What you owe, at what rate, and what it costs your goal.
Blind spots
Recurring costs that were set up once and never looked at again.
The NLF Score
One number, measured against your goal.
Are you on track for the goal you set, in the timeline you chose? The NLF Score answers that question.
It weighs five things together — how your goal lines up with what you can set aside, what you've saved, what's left each month, how your debt is structured, and your money habits — using only what you enter.
It's shown as a range, five points either side, and calculated by the same rules every time. It never points you to an investment or a product.
Where you land, and what you do next, is your decision.
The NLF Clarity Report
What your report shows.
Only figures you entered, or straight arithmetic on them. On screen, and ready to print.
Your NLF Score
Shown as a range, with a plain description of where it puts you.
Where you land
One of five profiles, with its strengths and points to watch.
What stands out
What matters most for your goal, stated plainly and never prescribed.
Each debt on its own
When each clears at your current payment, or a clear note if it can't.
Your emergency fund
How many months of essential costs your savings would cover.
What your goal needs
What's left to save, divided by the months remaining. No assumed growth.
Where you land
Five profiles, one direction.
A starting position, not a verdict.
Fresh Start
Little is set up yet, and nothing is working against you.
Foundation Builder
The basics are going in beneath the goal.
Course Corrector
The pieces are in place but pulling against each other.
On-Track Builder
The numbers point the right way.
Goal Architect
The plan and the numbers agree.
Most people don't stay where they start.
Your information
What happens to what you enter.
No account, no password, and nothing you type is kept in your browser. No bank access, at any point.
To unlock your full report, the audit asks for your name and email address, with a clear notice of how they're used and a confirmation that you're 18 or over.
Your name, email and the figures from your audit are stored with Hostinger, the provider we use to send email. We keep them as a record of your audit, and use them to contact you about new NextLevelFinstra products and updates, to ask for your feedback, and to send occasional educational emails. You can unsubscribe from any email.
Your details are kept for no longer than 24 months, and deleted within 30 days if you unsubscribe or ask at hello@nextlevelfinstra.com. They're never sold, and never shared with lenders, bureaus or advertisers.
